An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and positive individual to deliver components of Healthcare Improvement Scotland’s quality assurance programme working within the Quality Assurance Directorate. This is a complex and wide-ranging programme of work which supports healthcare providers take action to improve patient care and provides public assurance on the quality of services provided across NHSScotland. 

You will provide our teams with comprehensive support across the Quality Assurance Directorate’s work programme. The successful applicant will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience, have strong report writing skills gained in a quality assurance role and project management experience. The ability to build strong relationships and work well in a team are essential for this role.

This post requires a creative and innovative approach to problem solving and effective team working and communication skills. You must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to plan and organise a busy and demanding work schedule. Regular travel throughout Scotland may also be required for this role (including overnight stays).
